You really can't blame him when they're talking like Beck is going to be a Heisman contender and a top five draft pick.

I don't blame him. He knows that Lagway will be a starter for at least 2 years, and he doesn't want to watch.
When Georgia looked like they were contenders for the kid committed to Southern Cal (and they still might be) and the kid that went to Missouri (Zollers I believe), they weren't on Montgomery as hard, and it looked to be a Florida - South Carolina battle. The Bulldogs reentered the picture, made him a priority, and that was that.
