Are there any teams we have to worry about for coach Golden

I want to say I am loving our basketball team and what coach Golden is doing.

I'm soaking it all in but when you are having this great a season you have to start worrying about other teams taking your coach.

When Billy Donovan was here we had to worry about Kentucky and the NBA.

Is there any team we have to be on the lookout for if they have an opening because they might try to take coach Golden?

If you're Florida, or really any team outside of the blue bloods, you have to keep an eye on national brands such as Duke, Kentucky, North Carolina, Kansas - stealing your head coach, because while Florida fans have certainly shown up this year, basketball is the top priority over football at those programs.

That can be appealing to a basketball coach.

As far as his own resume, Golden doesn't have ties to any program that would cause worry about them stealing him if that job became available.

What about if his mentor Bruce Pearl gets another job and he pushes for coach Golden to relace him at Auburn?

They aren't a better basketball program than us but maybe he'll feel he has to out of loyalty.

That is the only way I can see him leaving.

No Florida coach would leave any of our teams for any team at Auburn.

I'm enjoying this ride too but it will be interesting how we do next year without Martin, Richard and Clayton, and maybe Condon. We are great because we have senior guards who are really good. I think we will be good but every year will be a battle in the portal and on the recruiting trail. I think we have enough coming back that we can maintain this culture.

If we make it at least to the Final Four, then what reason would anyone want to leave. Billy D only left, because he only wanted to be in an enviroment where all there is is basketball. IF Golden left, I believe it would only be for the NBA. I do think by the way, that Billy would come back here in a heartbeat, should that opportunity ever present itself.
