I think UF offered way back when, but has never been a factor. I don't believe he ever visited. More of a hat on the table.
I don't think we're really going to get him.
I love that DJ Lagway is committed to us but he hasn't helped us get any recruits on offense.
That isn't to down him but it is what it is.
Ahh. Well from the remarks some of the recruits have made Lagway is making a difference, but as far as bringing commitments, no he hasn't done that, and even if Jeremiah Smith were to flip, it wouldn't be b/c of Lagway. Smith is an alpha and has his own plan which he keeps on the down low. I think he likes Lagway, but I have an impression that Smith's decision won't be final until he signs the letter. Until then, I think he's impressed with UF and even likes it, but his recruitment will come down to NIL and the last second. Just a gut judgment. The rest of them are playing a game, and some not very well. Lagway is just being himself, he's a real team player and I think I like him. I really like his skillset.
