A new football structure

With the way NCAA got is heading, Florida needs to be on the cutting edge when hiring a new head coach. Have the President & new AD hire a GM. The GM is responsible for hiring the head coach, overseeing NIL, and building the roster (with input from the head coach).

Yes, I've mentioned this in another post as an NFL model.
As the NCAA continues to lose court cases, I'm also thinking ahead even further in trying to decouple football operations from the University and athletic department.
Maybe a separate board of directors overseeing the GM who would hire the head coach and be in charge of payroll and player acquisition.
