Disagree on Kentucky and FSU. 8-4
UK beat us last year in our house with us having the #4 pick in the draft. We got worse at QB and they got the best QB out of the portal and we go there.

FSU I hope we can catch sleeping. We get them at home and if we are playing for a bowl game maybe the home field advantage can be the difference. They definitely have the more talented team.

My thinking is that UF overall is better than last year, especially on defense, and on offense there are now playmakers at WR, and RB. UF improved more than UK. JMO. With FSU a different reasoning, UF catches them at the end of the schedule so the youth of the UF roster will have experience under their belts giving UF a reasonable shot at an upset. I've seen odds of FSU a 51.3% chance to win. That's practically a toss up. But you make sense.

8-4 with losses to LSU, UGA, Tenn, and Utah. If it is 7-5 and we lose to FSU at home, I am worried that Napier AND Strickland will be in trouble. I don't like Brian Kelly, but why did we not go after him?

Remember are fans thought that LSU fans were jealous that Napier came here and they got stuck with Kelly.

That's how delusional some of us are.

Never understood the Kelly hate. He went undefeated at multiple schools before going to notre dame. He was basically the next urban meyer when he went to notre dame. He has the most sustained success that program has seen this century.

If it's true that Kelly and Riley wanted to come here but we passed on them to take Napier then Stricklin's days need to be numbered.

That doesn't mean Napier can't be good one day but he isn't in the same class as either of them. Look at what they've done and what they did last year compared to Napier.

From what I read, Napier nailed the interview complete with the how many and why for staff. He had the nuts and bolts answers that sold Strckland. Napier was a candidate for the LSU job but when Kelly came available LSU interviewed and hired him instead. I think we're fine with who we got. Mullen left a depressing mess, there weren't many big names who wanted the job.
