Comparing us to Alabama

They were discussing Alabama's credentials to be in the playoffs. They have more top 25 wins than any other program this year, but their three remaining opponents are kind of weak so they think they have a playoff spot locked in.

I thought I would compare them to us.

Florida has lost to five teams with a combined record of 39-7

We should have beaten TN and UGA. If we did we would be 6-3 and have two wins over top 25 teams. That still might not be good enough to have us in play offs unless we win these last three but we would be in the discussion at least.

I hate to be a downer but this is delusional thinking.

I don't think it's delusional thinking. The margins are so thin between winning and losing, just a couple of plays can be the difference between coaches on the hot seat and coaches getting raises...

Our coaching/recruiting is not elite right now for sure but if a few things go right that can be overcome.

QB play is what really makes coaches and teams successful so we have a shot.

The margins are thin, but we always come out on the wrong side for some reason.
