Time will tell. Orgeron did not leave the cupboard bare like Mullin did so the job was easier for Kelly. I personally like Napier and hope he can be a successful Saban prodigy. With the house cleaning Napier has done and the pieces he has added I am optimistic.
Clearly Brian Kelly is a better coach than Billy Napier at this time. That's not even a knock on Billy, that's just obvious. Brian Kelly is as good or better coach as Saban, Smart and Dabo or anyone else doing this.
The one upside with Billy is that he might be here a long time. If he can get established, get some good players, good QB play, and win some games, etc. He might be here for the long haul and we need some stability. Things have been nuts since Meyer lost his mind in 2010...

Brian Kelly is an elite coach and doesn’t seem to get the credit he deserves. Napier is a better long term hire hopefully though.
