I would call Bob Stoops first, Lincoln Riley second and Ryan Day third.

Offer to make one of them the highest paid coach in college football before I looked anywhere else.

Maybe Stoops as the Interim. I would include Ryan Day and Lincoln Riley, but my first offer would be to make Lane Kiffin the highest paid coach. I would also offer Jon Gruden the position of a GM sort of job that runs all Football operations. No matter what, Scott Strickland would have zero say in who the next coach is.
