Keep the faith. Not everyone is against us or thinks we'll do poorly this year.
My only worry about the offense is replacing Pearsall. Wilson is legit but Pearsall was a game changer. It’s year 3, no more excuses. Winning less than 8 is seemingly unacceptable in year 3. Napier is either a legit game day coach and developer of talent or he isn’t.If the offense improves slightly (which I think it will) and the defense improves (which it definitely will), we will win 8 games.
We came close to beating a team with a losing record in the Swamp.I kind of agree with him in that I think that not only did Florida beat Tennessee last year, but they came close to beating Missouri and Arkansas.
I am guessing that the team's added experience will help them this year.
The OL additions are an upgrade from last year, as are the DL additions.
Think about this ...
If Florida wins 6 games next year, that means they will have beaten at least one of the teams from this list:
If they make it to 7 wins, then they will have beaten at least two teams from that list, which in my opinion would be a definite improvement from last year.
- Tennessee (in Knoxville)
- Kentucky
- Georgia
- Texas (in Austin)
- LSU
- Ole Miss
- FSU (in Tallahasee)
It seems to me he was simply supporting a coach who helped him win a "national championship".That man thought McElwain was going to be great and we should have stuck with him.
I don't care about shit this guy has to say.
