Florida's own official website at the very top, at this very moment, points out it was Napier's first win in five attempts against a rival.
As for this wanna-be, after each and every game, I make a thread about:
The AP Top 25 (whether UF is ranked or not)
The USA Today Coaches Poll (whether UF is ranked or not)
Where UF stands in NCAA rankings (whether UF is No. 1 or No. 130 in any given category)
Which freshmen signees from the most recent class played (whether none of them did or all of them did)
The current head coaches record against rivals (if the game was against a rival)
The current head coaches record against the AP Top 25 (if the game was against a ranked opponent)
How the current coach compare to those coaches in his hiring class.
It gets done each week regardless of whether the current coach is Billy Napier, Dan Mullen or Will Muschamp. It gets done regardless of whether the current coach is 7-0 or 0-7 against ranked teams or rivals.
I promise you, if he were 6-2 rather than 2-6, you would want it shouted from the highest mountain. However, I don't pick and choose what to share based on whether it is a positive or a negative, I share what I believe is pertinent.
Mr. Negativity here actually picked UF to win in our Breakdown and after the game I called it the biggest win of the Billy Napier Era. Not because I want to be positive, but because I believe it to be true.
