Lagway vs Tebow vibe

Since I don’t live in Gainesville, how does the excitement about Lagway compare to Tebow as Freshman in their first Spring Camp?

Lagway is rated higher but I don't think he has the appeal of Tebow. Maybe because Tebow had a built in fanbase being from Jacksonville.

No need to compare him to Tebow. He can't win there but I think he'll be a better QB.

I think the excitement for Tebow was a bit more due to the offense we were running. Going from leak to a 5 star dual threat with what Meyer was building created that excitement. Folks will be screaming for lagway early though!

Practices are closed to the public, and he makes a handful of on air throws during the period the media is permitted to watch.

That's hardly enough to create any sort of buzz.

Why are we having our spring game the same day as Alabama?

The good recruits will want to be there and they will draw all the attention away from the first time college football will be able to get a chance to see Lagway.

We should have stayed with doing it during the week like we've been doing.
