I was out so I couldn't post it here but Paul Finebaum said on the campus show that if we offered Lane Kiffin the head coach job he would take it.

If we could get him I say we should can Napier if he gets to 4 or 5 losses this year.

Why would he leave Miss where if he wins seven or eight games, he's a hero and has one of the best NILs for us, where if he wins seven or eight games he's on the hot seat and we have a worse NIL?

Kiffin has always loved Spurrier, and I have read several places that the OBC was his idol as a young coach. I believe that he would take the UF job if offered. Every coach has that inner desire to be the savior, and Kiffin certainly would at Florida. You can be successful and happy at Ole Miss, but you will NEVER be a Champion at Ole Miss. Kiffin knows that and so do 90% of the successful coaches in college. If you put Spurrier in charge of the search committee, Kiffin absolutely could not turn him down.

We would have to ask if Florida would take Kiffin. The one thing that administrators and ADs love more than wins and losses is money. When he was younger you could excuse some of his immature behavior, but now, on his fourth head coaching job, last week he started a press conference by trashing Coke, an Ole Miss sponsor, who had a can on the podium. Later in the week, he tweeted out about CokeZero, I'm sure because he was told to. You can't have that in this day in age when sponsorship dollars are more important than ever. There was no good reason for him to unprovoked, take a shot at a sponsor.

This is a very good point.
I think the two previous coaches were somewhat of an embarrassment to the University, in the eyes of administration.
i would think they would like to avoid a repeat.
One thing everyone case say about Napier, is that it would be hard to imagine him embarrassing the University.

Unless the whole Rashada thing makes the university look bad.
