This is who Miami is winning recruiting battles to get.

His history says he recruits well, but doesn't win championships or big games. If the recruiting goes away too, he'll be leaving right behind it.He is a really good recruiter but I think their NIL guy's business taking a nose dive is hurting them like we got hurt with the whole Rashada deal.
There are a couple linemen there we could use, and we're looking at the Gators. Ruiz bought them. He's a bad game day coach for sure. Takes good talent and makes them look bad and I hope it continues that way. Maybe we can eventually get back some of the kids on their roster that should have been Gators...
I think you're right. First, they made a really bad choice as a hire. Second Ruiz NIL collective is close to BK. So none of this is going to change in the near term.feels like this was miamis final swing at a big name coach.
I think that's a fair statement. Norvell is a much better coach than Cristobal. But I'm not as worried about FSU long-term because of what I'm seeing in recruiting. Napier recruited last year at a higher level than Norvell, and he's clearly building more momentum this year. I also think Napier's staff is much better than Norvell's, especially on defense. FSU may be favored against UF, but that game is at the end of the season, and I think enough coaching will have been done by then for UF to surprise the Seminoles. JMO.Recruits are starting to see Cristobal. I think we outrecruit UM this year. We have to worry about what FSU is doing.
I was surprised at how norvell struggled early to get a legit qb. A young coach with proven offense and putting a quarterback in the nfl. Heck, his high school recruiting is still suspect though which is nice for us.I think that's a fair statement. Norvell is a much better coach than Cristobal.
