    Every head coach should try to get a copy of the tapes Meyer made on how to run a team. He was big on coaches and players getting to know each other on a personal level but he made how they performed more of a priority than their personality.

    It might be a good trade for this year since Mertz has experience and Evers doesn't. I wouldn't mind if we could have kept him to develop. He could have at least been a good backup for us this year.

    I don't know if we don't use them because we don't have good tightends or if its that coach Napier's offense doesn't use tight ends catching the ball. If it's not going to Bordingham I'd rather see the ball go to a receiver who can make a play.

    You don't know that Mertz is comfortable under pressure when he's in a black jersey where he can't be hit. You are seriously pumping sunshine with that one.

    If Miller isn't 2nd string do you think he transfers? He left OSU when better quarterbacks beat him out. Why would he stay here behind 2 average quarterbacks? Go to a team like Utah State and maybe start.

    Can we make out who is starting from the open scrimmage yesterday? QB is Mertz and the RB is Johnson. Who were the starters at WR, OL and DL? We don't know LB because of James. What about the DB? Marshall, Wilson, Hill and who else?
