The way Golden has turned around basketball puts more pressure on Billy Napier

Don't you think that with how coach Todd Golden has turned around the basketball team in two years that puts more pressure on coach Napier to be able to do the same?

In his second year he took a step back. Golden's been here two years and he took a step forward.

And don't you think it makes it easier for Stricklin to fire Napier since he can say he hired a successful basketball coach.

Golden is a great evaluator of talent, recruiter and game coach. His last hurdle is to eliminate 2nd half falters. This team has the potential to get to at least the 2nd weekend. The future is bright for UF Basketball.

There is immense pressure on football coaches at all levels and it ratcheted up big time at places like Florida.

I don't see why fans think adding from within our own to the already distracting pressure will help anything.

It won't. It is counter productive. Let it go.

Nothing that happens with basketball has anything to do with Napier. He’s fixed what he can with the coaches and S&C. He’s now got to fix game day coaching or it’s over.

I think that it helps give Stricklin cover. If Golden turns out to be a really good hire like I think he will then Stricklin can fire Napier and still keep his job. If Golden and Napier are considered bad hires there's no way Stricklin can afford to get rid of Napier or he would be out the door with him.
