Sad but probably true. Play for an unknown QB for 1 year when you could play for the best. In addition, play in front of 35K fans instead of 90K. It could only be money.

Since UF offered last summer, he has been high on the Gators. He has called UF his leader multiple times. He has been on all five versions of our monthly Mock Draft. But, as with each and every prospect, money matters to some degree. If all things are equal, then a bigger offer can sway a kid in a certain direction. If all the offers are equal, then other intangibles (facilities, development, GatorMade, etc) factor in.

However, at the end of the day, if a program offers more money, they are more than likely going to win out.

There are kids UF lost out on because another program made a bigger offer. There are players on the UF roster that the Gators got because they offered more.

That's just the way it is.

I agree with Mark but I continue to wonder how Miami can out bid us for a guy we want. We've been pretty good at evaluating WRs and I hope we are right on this one too.
