Over at the Heavener Complex waiting on visitors to leave and I had a chance to see a couple football players coming and going.
* Freshmen receivers Vernell Brown III and Naeshaun Montgomery pulled up on scooters. This is my third trip over there in three weeks, and each time those two have been attached at the hip.
* Speaking of freshman receivers, aftet arriving this week, Dallas Wilson left the facility late, with a big smile on his face. He is rooming with Ben Hanks Jr., Stephon Shivers and Jeramiah McCloud.
* As defensive end George Gumbs Jr. was leaving, he had a UF shirt with a testing benchmark numbers on the back of it. 1,200 pounds (combination of max bench, squat and power clean). As was part of my 10 observations last summer, he has the potential to be a freak.
