I linked these yesterday, but I didn't get a chance to watch them until today. They both really give the Gator Nation better insight into who Coach Napier is, what he stands for, and his process better than what you normally get from a press conference.

A PC likely feels more like a firing squad while these come off more as conversations.

The truth is none of us know how this is all going to turn out, but to me, watching him in this element makes him someone you want to pull for.

Plus, if not him, who? Seriously, if he doesn't make it happen, what would be the next step?

Very impressive. The man has a plan. As more and more talent comes in its going to be good. I do not think we're going to have an issue with trouble makers on his roster.

Thanks for posting. I missed alot of this coverage.

The best part of this season is the under the radar nature of the expectations. Let's see how far we can take it!

A team motivated like this won't sleep through a Vanderbilt game and they won't back down from Utah or the better teams.

Since I first heard an interview with Napier after he was named the new HC for UF I was impressed. Scott Strickland needed badly to get Mullen's replacement right, he can't afford another Mullen experience so he probably waited that last Mullen season searching for the right guy and from day one I've felt like he nailed it. I think Napier is the new Saban that Kirby Smart just isn't. Smart is losing control of his roster, Napier's evaluation process greatly reduces the chance of a bad apple dropping into the barrel and I see old-school values in Napier that I haven't seen since Spurrier was HC. UF has a winner.

I like how he also mentioned that down the road, after we have some success, it's important how we handle that. He realizes the difference between hunting and being hunted.

Napier is the new Saban that Smart isn't?

Smart has passed up Saban and could win his third straight national championship.

We'll be happy if Napier can lead us to a winning record.

You do understand that this is a Gator site, right? They have a Leghumper site too for UGA fans like you.
