From a fan perspective we primarily get caught up in the on the field things. Napier is not without fault. His plycalling has not helped him in the least bit.
However the issues we are having in securing solid commitments with some HS kids and in the transfer portal is less to do with Billy and more to do with the UAA and the boosters.
Simply put, taking the mask off the villian reveals Stricklin and the UAA. There is no support behind the football program and frnkly many if the boosters dont care about football at all. The big pockets at UF, wont name names...but you see their faces on busses and on baseball stadiums have been asked to give to this football program and have been turned down...both by the former collective and Victorious.
Stricklin isnt doing his part to squeeze people and the UAA is disinterested in pushing either. Sooooo the news you will hear in the next few days when you get mad.....dont take it out on coach...direct it at the real OZ behind the curtain.
