I'm listening to the tailgate show and they brought up how Cormani McClain isn't a SEC corner. They saw some plays where he was avoiding contact. He might be back in the portal after this year.

He can play coverage but he doesn't like to tackle.

He needs a year in the weight room to fully judge him. I would rather have someone with his skillset and physique who needs to add muscle than have some player who is muscled up but doesn't have his talent and toolset.

He'll have all summer to workout and get stronger. He and Johnson are going to be starters next year and two of the best we've had in a while.

I suspect he is in Napier's doghouse and has one foot out the door. It's a shame the kid cannot get his head on straight because he has NFL cover skills. Hopefully he grows up before being asked to leave.

No, McClain isn't on there for the Ole Miss game.

I take it back. He didn't look soft when him and Marcus Burke were stomping that FSU player.

He can build himself up and be ready to play a big part next year.
