The third and final of Florida's three June 7-on-7 tournaments takes place Friday with an 18-team draw that features high schools from Florida and Georgia.

This is a 'what might have been' type of tournament in that if so many of the top kids weren't on official visits elsewhere, it would have been a HUGE day. As it is, there are still several top prospects who are due in.

When they set this up didn't they think that maybe these 2025 targets could be on official visits in June?

This is a wasted chance to recruit them.

They could have had it early in the week like on a Monday or Tuesday.

I wrote above that Ben Hanks Jr. wouldn't be out here today because he would be on his Miami official visit. However, he is here along with his dad, who is a BTW coach.

I'm not passing judgement on others, but to me is says a lot that a young man would come out here and put team first and then go on his official visit when he wrapped up business here.
