It was supposed to be that getting Lagway committed early was going to help us get recruits on offense.

What has he done in 6 months?

We got a WR that missed last year and a lower rated RB.

If he can't get on some recruits at elite 11 this is a waste of getting a good QB.

It’s still on the coaching staff to land these kids. Lagway should be increasing the coaching staffs odds of landing big names because he is on board. To a degree I think some players are waiting to see napiers offense put up some passing yards to show them why to come here. We have some great freshman receivers coming in, hopefully they show what’s possible and it gets the ball rolling

And this was a waste of a good post opportunity.

A positive of getting a national quarterback's early commitment is that they can go to work and help attract other big-time prospects. Lagway certainly puts in the time, but very few top kids make their decisions based on what another prospect, even a high school teammate, does.

Yes, it will be interesting to see what transpires at Elite11, when he is with some top targets for a few days straight.
