Not SEC-related but certainly CFP-related. Ross Dellenger reports that Jim Harbaugh is negotiating a four-game suspension with the NCAA for recruiting violations. The NCAA was previously investigating recruiting violations, and it was discovered that Harbaugh made false statements to the NCAA in a meeting with investigators.
It's expected he'll be suspended for the first four games of the season, which look to be a cakewalk for the Wolverines:
East Carolina, UNLV, Bowling Green, Rutgers.
Getting suspended for four games is a big deal, but the games he'll be suspended for will have minimal consequences.
