Not SEC-related but certainly CFP-related. Ross Dellenger reports that Jim Harbaugh is negotiating a four-game suspension with the NCAA for recruiting violations. The NCAA was previously investigating recruiting violations, and it was discovered that Harbaugh made false statements to the NCAA in a meeting with investigators.

It's expected he'll be suspended for the first four games of the season, which look to be a cakewalk for the Wolverines:

East Carolina, UNLV, Bowling Green, Rutgers.

Getting suspended for four games is a big deal, but the games he'll be suspended for will have minimal consequences.

To add, there are other penalties for a few staffers and former staffers, per Dellenger. The big thing I took away was the cover up was worse than the crime. There were a few Level II violations (contact with recruits in dead periods, analysts doing on-field coaching, coaches watching workouts through Zoom), but him covering it up to the NCAA was what caused the suspension (Level I violation).
