After being a disaster at right tackle, last year, he had some decent games as a right guard. this year.
I thought he played much better this year, but he isn't an upper-level type of SEC lineman. However, when healthy, he was a starter.Probably a smart move. Without injuries to other O-line players, he probably would have been 2nd team next year. Good luck to him.
And how did USC and Kentucky fare with those guys?PS. We have lost a bunch of OL to transfer under Napier and staff. Is there something wrong in that room? Remember when we lost several starters to USC and a couple to Kentucky? Some of those guys seemed very unhappy as well. Two OL coaches was supposed to put a great emphasis on OL play but results are not great so far. Last year we seemed to hold our own, definite improvement.
They both did pretty well. That was 2 years ago. This year it was bad though! And how did USC and Kentucky fare with those guys?
