I don’t like the idea. Napier needs to focus more on the entire operation including game days to be able to fix issues there. I would be fine keeping most of the offense in tact if we could add more wide receivers at times.

One thing for sure, if we do not make the playoffs with Lagway, Baugh, 4 out of 5 O-linemen returning, Very good returning D-linemen, great young LBs and DBs, Napier will NEVER make the playoffs and would have to be fired since he apparently ignored advice to hire an OC. He is a good man, but his stubbornness might just bite him.

We have to make the playoffs this year. We'll be rebuilding the line in 26.

I read somewhere that prior to the 1990s 70% of football plays were run between two tackles but since that time 70% of plays are run from outside the tackle positions.
If these percentages have any merit that then Napier's play calling falls into the 1st category.
