I don't get the ending to the game.

Mertz called the last time out with 7 seconds. They said Napier or now Hillbilly Mismanagement wanted him to spike it. He didn't. They complete another pass over the middle with 2 seconds left. Even a homer like Doering was saying there's no way they get that final play off before the game is over.

What happened.

Why did they let them kick it?

Why didn't our quarterback know what our coach wanted him to do?

Did we learn anything from losing to Arkansas.
