Upper Marlboro (MD) St. Frances Academy five-star safety Jireh Edwards just left campus after an abbreviated unofficial visit, which was actually extended somewhat.
Edwards told me last night, while eating at The Swamp Restaurant, that he had concluded his one-day unofficial visit to UF and would be heading home Wednesday morning, with no plans to stop by the football facility. Somewhere between when I spoke with him and today, he said he decided to make an hour pitstop at the Heavener Complex to touch base with the coaches again before leaving.
I'm currently uploading a video interview with him on YouTube.
We'll just say he liked what he saw, particularly the GatorMade program stood out to him.
