Good for Dike, but how did the NFL name Etienne the best back at the combine over Johnson?
You got to wait until after the pro days to know if that's true.Etienne will be drafted higher than Johnson.
Dike is in the 5th or 6th round after running like he did is crazy low.To me, there always seems to be too much hyper surrounding the combine with the media announcing players either "soaring" up draft boards or falling down draft boards.
I think for most teams, the workout numbers will mostly confirm what they already know about players from watching them for 3-4 years or more.
Who cares who is drafted before someone else?
Recall that Anthony Richardson was drafted higher than Tom Brady.
Even though Dike was named to this team, there doesn't seem to be a good opinion of his draft potential reflecting this.
Give Dike and Johnson Jr. credit for their amazing Combine 40 times. They either trained their assess off or learned incredible techniques. They deserve a pat on the back for that.To me, there always seems to be too much hyper surrounding the combine with the media announcing players either "soaring" up draft boards or falling down draft boards.

Was it the LSU game that Johnson went 70 yards untouched to win it?Give Dike and Johnson Jr. credit for their amazing Combine 40 times. They either trained their assess off or learned incredible techniques. They deserve a pat on the back for that.
I think the issue is, did anyone here come away from a game last year thinking to themselves that either was a burner? That either one of them would be among the fastest at their positions?
They didn't play like it.
Is it the UF offense? Was it them? Neither were considered homerun threats when they touched the ball for the Gators.
