Does basketball success help or hurt football

I'm wondering if what Golden is doing with basketball helps or hurts what Napier has done with football.

They were both hired at the same time. They are both in their third year.

Golden is playing for the national championship while Napier played in a mid level bowl game.

Does the way Golden turned around basketball give us hope that Napier can do it with football or do we start thinking how had Golden done it so fast compared to Napier.

Does this show that Scott Stricklin might have a clue.

Does more NIL money go to basketball now taking away from football.

Does one having success matter to the other?

I don't think it matters.

Basketball, winning doesn't mean that football's going to.

If basketball was bad it doesn't mean the football's going to be bad.

Just enjoy the wins when you can.
