I saw this on Twitter and retweeted it. There's no question DJ Lagway is huge and solid as a rock (just ask the Ole Miss and FSU defensive linemen who bounced off of him), but this photo is a little deceiving, because of the angle and coloring.
The most accurate measurement you will ever see of a football player comes from the NFL Combine. At the Combine two years ago Richardson came in at 6-foot-4 1/4, 244-pounds. Looking at the difference in this photo, you would think Lagway is at least 6-foot-5 1/2, 260 pounds.
He isn't.
UF's official roster, which I just complimented a month ago for being so accurate:
lists him at 6-foot-3, 241-pounds.
As I stated above, the angle, with Lagway a little more forward, and standing off just a little to create distance, as well as AR's shirt closely matching the guy standing next to him, causes them to blend together a little, are what makes Lagway standout so much.
