Comparing Heupel to Spurrier

They are on the Chuck Oliver show saying that Tennessee coach Huepel is the offensive coordinator that SEC defensive coordinators are worried about.

He is the reason that Milton is going to be a top quarterback this year.

They're saying that he calls plays like Spurrier and his offense is hard to stop.

And I like to keep up with the teams that we play. And here they're saying that this coach reminds them of Spurrier.

That sounds important to me.

I saw him at UCF and at UT last year. The only that he reminds me of Spurrier is that he has 2 arms and 2 legs. I don't know if you are too young to remember Spurrier, but this dude is NOTHING LIKE SPURRIER.

Well, it's nothing more than Tennessee comparing their latest coach to a legend to make themselves feel better, and it's totally unimportant and unjustifiable. But you thought it important to drop this stuff at a Gator site.

He had a very good O at UCF and at Tennessee last year.

He has a very good offensive mind. We'll see if he is a good head coach this year.

I never really paid attention to him but I went back and looked at his resume and I don't see what he did to be hired by UCF.
