Nothing tears the Gator Nation apart more than a win.

I've never seen so many different fans take up arms over a damn good win.

First and foremost - every single Florida fan should be celebrating a victory over No. 21 LSU.

A win in the Swamp, over a ranked SEC opponent who is a traditional rival.

What's not to like?

Now, giving the team credit for pulling the upset also doesn't mean that anyone was wrong about Billy Napier. He doesn't have to be part of it. You can be thrilled with a win, and still say you have doubts about Napier.

Hell, I do.

His record dictates that I should.

However, if he starts stringing together wins, then of course you have to rethink your position - I know I will.

He hasn't done that yet, so let's cross that bridge when we get to it.

Until then, there isn't a single person who is the final arbitrator of who is and isn't a Florida fan.

Not the current staff, current players, former coaches, former players, or even Albert and Alberta themselves.

None of that has any relevance, and all of that is a waste of time.

So stop with that nonsense and pull for a win these next two weeks.

If we win this week against Ole Miss, then with all of the injuries that we have had, and all of the issues this team has had to face, I will happily jump off of the fire Napier bandwagon. I want to believe that this team has turned the corner. If we knock off 2 top 25 teams in a row, then I would agree. 2 things for sure, this is a different team in the Swamp, and also a different team when we have DJ in the lineup. The Defense plays freer and with a purpose. As an old Defensive player, I know it is hard to play defense on a team week after week when the offense cannot sustain drives, goes 3 and out and then you are back out there. With DJ for a whole season our Defense will turn into a top 25 defense at the minimum. Here is to believing we have a chance this week.
