Mertz took a beating because of how he played at Wisconsin but coach Billy knew what he was doing and brought him in to run his offense. We are ranked and Mertz is having a career year and is probably the best transfer QB out there. The point is believe in Billy he is the head coach for a reason.

We know about everything that went wrong. But in this thread, you can only post a positive from Thursday. Give them up.

We didn't play great but I never thought we would beat Utah on the road. We won't know what kind of team we have until we play Kentucky. Stay engaged and show the coaches and players support and don't judge them this early.

The best thing that happened to us yesterday was how Graham Mertz played. It showed that coach knew what he was doing when he signed him out of the portal. I feel like it pumps us up on Mertz and gives us more faith in coach. If he can play like that all season and the defense is better...
