I don't get it.
Is it saying that he had a sore shoulder when he came here last year and it has got worse?
He only missed one game last year and that was because he got hit low in the Georgia game.
It wasn't because of his shoulder.

Mark Long has never liked coach Napier and writes whatever he can to undermine him.

He might not like Napier but that doesn't make him wrong. If DJ had shoulder problems last year when he got here and he still has them then you can say he probably has something wrong with his shoulder where he has to give it rest more than other quarterbacks.
That doesn't mean he isn't going to be great but maybe he has to be managed different.
I think he's asking a good question there. How many heisman candidate quarterbacks are aren't practicing this spring?
Don't you think there has to be something serious wrong?
This story kind of would explain things, but would not be good news if the rest does not help his shoulder ...

His throwing coach was on a UF podcast and said that there's nothing wrong he can throw the ball.
There is obviously an issue - but to what extent, who knows? They aren't keeping a sophomore projected returning starter from throwing a single pass this spring for no reason. He without question has an issue with his shoulder. That's a given. How much of an issue, I have no idea.
