Anyone butthurt over a kid, who is on his fourth pledge, saying he is locked in and then hitting the road to check out his options, that's every bit as much about you being mad at yourself for being gullible as it is about the kid enjoying the process. Nothing matters until he signs. Nothing.
My first inclination was to say even then it's not over (Rashada, Grimsley, etc.). But that was in the old days of NLI. Now my understanding is the players sign contracts. And with revenue sharing next, I wonder how much more difficult it will be for players to get out of those contracts? Even then, there's the transfer portal, so a player could burn a year somewhere and move to a more permanent location (Pup Howard).
