I actually began that paragraph saying I was going off the beaten pass. The truth is, yes Badger or Dike would be a good pick, but the quarterbacks wouldn't have time to find them on those passes if BCD hadn't been so vastly improved during the month of October, so he received my vote.

Rereading that, you have a point, it might be a little over the top.

However, as I wrote, and you posted, he had but one game of tape with Florida, and - to put it kindly - he looked terrible in that one game.

We try to balance it out by offering an opinion on each side. You can't have a category of surprising, without also having one showing who has disappointed. You can't have the best of something, without also having the worst. Otherwise, it isn't being objective.
