Jacksonville (Fla.) Riverside 2025 receiver Tae’Shaun Gelsey has garnered early offers from the likes of Auburn, Kentucky, and Maryland.

He also has early interest from programs such as Florida and Georgia. On Saturday the 6-foot-4, 210-pounder attended the Gators’ Jr. Day.

QUICK Q&A

What was the highlight of your visit today?
“My highlight was when we discussed things that are important to us because it showed me the care about each player outside of football.”

Which coaches did you speak with the most, and what did they have to say to you?
“I spoke to Coach [Russ] Calloway and Coach [Chad] Lucas the most. They were basically showing me how much they were interested in me and what I needed to do to stay ahead of the game.”

During last week’s junior day, one of the popular features was the player panel. What did the players really have to say about this program?
“The player panel was pretty helpful because we had a player’s perspective without having a coach in attendance, so we knew they gave their honest answer and opinions. Two of the players were Eugene Wilson and Rod Kearney.”

Is there anything new you learned about the Gators today that you didn’t know before? If so, what?
“Yes, I found out that Florida is the #1 public school academically and had a 3.15 average GPA in the fall semester on the football team.”

What is the most impressive thing you saw either when touring the campus or during one of the presentations? What really stood out?
“I liked how the players told us that the coaches are like father’s to them and they take care of them.”

How do you feel about Florida after visiting today?
“Florida is a great place and on top of that it has a great campus and community.”

It’s still early for you, but do you have any leaders or a leaderboard?
“No, not as of right now.”
