- 2024 PWO offensive lineman Mark Faircloth
Everyone showed a lot of heart in a tough game and played until the very end. We just gotta clean up the small things, and have more consistency.
- 2025 defensive lineman Jeramiah McCloud
I feel like the D-line had a good game, but was a little undisciplined at times in the game. The defense played good by playing very physical and not letting up. The atmosphere was great. I truly loved it and want to come back. The coaches treated me like I was one of their own. It was very much organized. I loved being in the Swamp.
- 2025 three-star safety commit Josiah Davis
The atmosphere was crazy and I just love the way it was because I know that I’m going to be playing in that very soon. The coaches said that they were ready for me to get down there and ready to go to work.
- Four-star defensive line target Dealyn Evans
I think the Gators are right there, they just have to finish games. The defense played really good with the exception of five or six plays. The atmosphere was amazing, especially in the 4th quarter. The coaches were pretty bummed after the game and they told me to come help flip this thing around.
- 2026 safety target Devin Jackson
I felt like the Gators played well. There were a few mistakes, but that’s part of the game. I think the defense did good, but had a few mistakes and penalties, which helped FSU. The atmosphere was great and I had a great time at the game.
- 2024 three-star athlete target Gregory Smith III
They played many defensive backs last night. The backups did what they could do. But other than that defense overall played a decent game, they just need to fix a few things and they will be back on track!
- 2025 four-star receiver target Trey Brown III
I think the receivers played pretty well. They made some big-time plays and definitely showed up. The atmosphere was great as always. I left early so I did not get the chance to speak with the coaches.
- 2026 linebacker Adam balogoun-Ali
FSU is one of the best teams in the nation, Florida competing with them right now shows the potential they could have with the recruits they’re getting. The atmosphere was crazy and always finds a way to top itself every time I’m there.
- 2024 four-star receiver commit TJ Abrams
I think the missed kicks were really the difference in this game. Us going into the half with those two extra made field goals could have really been the difference-maker in this game. I would say the atmosphere was electric until the final pick. Besides that, I see this as a step in the right direction. Us recruits just gotta come with a goal next year.
- 2026 four-star athlete target J’Zavien Currence
It was a tough loss. I think the defense as a whole played good. There were some penalties at important times in the game that I think cost UF the game. Those penalties kept drives alive and the defense on the field. Other than that, the safeties as a unit played ball and made some big tackles at times. I talked to the coaches before the game and they told me they were excited to have me down this weekend. Making sure I know they want me to be a Gator. Keep getting better & keep on doing what I’m doing.
- 2025 four-star defensive line target Jalen Wiggins
I think the environment was crazy and the defensive line dominated on defense tonight stopping the run game. The coaches said it was a heartbreaker, but there’s still more work to do.
- 2025 four-star receiver target Dillon Alfred
It was a tough loss, however, the Gators never gave up and played hard to the end. I think the receivers played well to the opportunities they had. The atmosphere was electrifying and exciting to be amongst, all of them supporting the Gators. I had a great conversation with Coach Billy G [Gonzales]. We discussed how my high school season was going and catching up since our last encounter and future plans. Coach [Jabar] Juluke and I had a good conversation as well, both coaches showed love and were welcoming to me being back on campus again.
- 2026 offensive line target Will Conroy
I thought they played hard, it was a tough loss but they fought. I thought at my position there is a lot to work on, people just see numbers but when watching I see a lot they could improve on. I mean the Swamp is amazing, it gave me goosebumps. I talked to the coaches a lot for a long time both Friday and at the game. I love them. They’re great people and would love to keep building relationships with them.
- 2026 offensive line target Immanuel Iheanacho (who was offered after the game)
It was an unfortunate tough loss to FSU but I believe there were some positives to the game especially on defense, which was nice. I believe the O-Line did well but obviously, there is always room for improvement everywhere from everyone. I am still learning the game of football so I’m not here to criticize or critique any of the players, but it was nice seeing sparks in the O-Line as well. As for the environment, it was amazing. I loved the thing the crowd did entering the fourth quarter [Won’t back down] as well as how energetic the crowd was. Whether we were up or not, the fans were welcoming to the recruits which was also refreshing. I had a great conversation with Coach [Darnell] Stapleton and Coach [Rob] Sale, and they told me that my film was impressive and that it’s only the beginning.
