Florida’s first-ever ‘blackout’ game will feature just one prospect, but he plays a position where the Gators desperately need a talent infusion.
Favour Edwin | Offensive Tackle |
The Skinny: On Thursday evening 6-foot-8, 290-pound Favour Edwin released a top five consisting of Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, and Georgia Tech. He officially visited Auburn back in September, and also tripped to UF that month as well, for the win over Tennessee.
He first visited Florida in April and then the Gators offered him a month later. At that time he told us that UF would be a factor for him until the end.
Back on August 1st, he reported that he had received several official offers, including one from Alabama, but told ITG that UF hadn’t sent one. So, does that mean that UF sent one later that day or week or that they re-engaged with him later?
He told Inside the Gators that he will be in town this weekend along with his guardians Teresa and Keith McKay.
Edwin is the No. 616 rated prospect in the nation according to the On3 Consensus.
