Leaving the Ot7 7-on-7 tournament in Orlando, 2025 Buford (Ga.) four-star linebacker Jadon Perlotte decided to stop by Gainesville to check out Florida.
Though he is committed to Georgia, the 6-foot-3, 200-pounder was impressed with what he saw at UF and plans on returning.

Who came on the visit with you? “Me and [four-star safety] Jason Mitchell and [four-star receiver] Kwazi Gilmor.”
What was the visit like as far as what all took place? “Arrived right after the tournament, around 4 p.m. and we were there for about an hour.”
What coaches did you speak with? “I spoke with Coach [Jay] Bateman. He said that they are going to recruit me hard and to come be a part of the Gators.”
What was the highlight of the visit? “The new facility. It’s crazy. It’s something I’ve never seen before.”
What is your impression of Florida after the visit? “That they’re going to be really good this year. They needed a little time to recuperate.”
You’re committed to Georgia, but how open are you to other programs? “I’m 100% locked in. I’m just exploring to see what could change my mind.”
Do you know of any programs that will get a visit from you over the summer? “Oregon, Miami, and Alabama.”
Do you have any plans to make it back to Florida? “Yes Sir, of course for a game this year.”
You’re committed to Georgia, but are there any other programs that you know will be there until the very end? If so, why? “Alabama. Greatness.”
What will be the most important factor in your college decision? “Relationships.”
