Portal recruiting has really improved this year

We kind of dropped the ball recruiting from the portal when Napier first got here. The real wins we got were from players who we had ties to like Torrence, Johnson and Pearsall.

Mertz was a good win for us but we haven't had many.

Until this year.

We got Slackman, Howard, Grimsley, Zandamela, Turner, Douglas.

That's three players who will help us this year and three future starters.
