Weekend Visitor Preview: Another big recruiting weekend

Sep 9, 2022 | 1 comment

Overall it may not have quite the star power as the opening day visitor’s list, but Florida is still hosting several top prospects on Saturday, including a five-star target and three other prospects who are currently committed elsewhere.

This IS NOT the entire list of expected visitors. We will be updating this right up as we verify visitors arriving on campus.

Those who won’t be there:

  • Will Norman (Moved back to New Jersey)
  • Knijeah Harris (He will be playing a game for IMG on Friday in Utah)

Those who will be there:

  • Jordan Castell
  • Kelby Collins
  • Aaron Gates
  • Gavin Hill
  • Ja’Keem Jackson
  • Kamran James
  • Aidan Mizell
  • Isaiah Nixon
  • Tyree Patterson
  • Jaden Robinson
  • TJ Searcy
  • Marcus Stokes
  • Treyaun Webb
  • Creed Whittemore

  • Sharif Denson
  • Andy Jean
  • Bryce Lovett
  • Eugene Wilson

For the second week in a row two top in-state targets who are committed elsewhere are scheduled to be in the Swamp on Saturday. Kissimmee (Fla.) Osceola four-star defensive tackle John Walker will see UCF (who he is committed to) on Friday and then travel to Gainesville on Saturday.

Then, Orange Park (Fla.) four-star offensive lineman Roderick Kearney – a Florida State commit – will be in town on Saturday as well.

In a bit more of a surprise, Tallahassee (Fla.) Rickards three-star wide out Keyon Brown is committed to Oklahoma, but will check out Florida this weekend.

Perhaps the most intriguing name due in isn’t a target in the Class of 2023, but rather a signee from the Class of 2022. Tampa (Fla.) King tight end Tony Livingston inked with Florida in the last cycle but never made it to campus.

He will be in town on Saturday.

For the second week in a row, Florida will play host to an uncommitted in-state five-star. Last week it was Cormani McClain – this week it is Tampa (Fla.) Berkley Prep five-star edge rusher Keon Keeley. He not only visited UF back in the summer, but he was also at the Alabama game last season.

He isn’t the only uncommitted Tampa area prospect due in.

Also, for the second week in a row Tampa (Fla.) Wharton four-star cornerback Dijon Johnson will be in town.

Then you also have Jacksonville (Fla.) Westside four-star defensive tackle Jordan Hall making his way back to Gainesville.

And finally, Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton three-star Bryce Thornton, who has a top two of Alabama and Florida, has a trip scheduled to the Swamp on Saturday. Another Peach State star expected in is Cordale (Ga.) Crisp County four-star Ahmad Brown. He told Inside the Gators last week that he was visiting, but then said something came up. He confirmed on Thursday this week that he would make the Kentucky game.
