Entering 2017, expectations in Gainesville (Fla.) were limitless for the then rising redshirt junior running back Jordan Scarlett. Florida fans and coaches are aware of the unique talent Scarlett possesses on the field after he rushed for 889 yards and 6 touchdowns as a sophomore in 2016 behind a lousy offensive line.

More impressive is his ability to evade pursuing tacklers, generating 50 missed tackles that year, while the entire team combined for 44 created missed tackles in 2017.

At 100%, who is better Scarlett or davis?

I think they could be an excellent tandem giving reps to whichever based on opponent and defensive scheme. What's more important is if the O-line does its job, even with mediocre blocking there is no reason we can't have a 2K+ rush year.

Scarlett is the true beast we need this year. He has lots to prove after last year

I think Davis is the bigger playmaker, he makes quick decisions, gets up field fast and has that break away speed. Plus he ia good catching the bag field and he plays bigger than he is. Yet I think his size limits him to about 15 touches a game. Scarlett can be the bell cow who can carry the ball 20-25 times a game and gets be better at the end.
