The summer college football camp season comes to an end this week with Florida staging their annual Friday Night Lights Camp.

FNL, which can draw anywhere from 25 or more four and five star prospects, has long been considered one of the premiere college camps of the summer.

Even at an event such as this, for whatever reason, there's still a handful of prospects we are looking forward to seeing more than the others.

This week Inside the Gators will countdown the five prospects we most anticipate seeing on Friday night under the lights.

#2 Keon Zipperer‍

  • Position: Tight End
  • Size: 6-foot-3, 240-pounds
  • Hometown: Lakeland (Fla.)
  • Ranking: 247/#124 | Rivals/#238
  • Year: 2019

Competition: Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Miami and others

Included Because:  At this time Florida has a ridiculous amount - seven - of tight ends on scholarship, but three are seniors this season and none of the underclassmen has proven themselves to date.

A year ago Florida was the clearcut leader, and even after the coaching change the Gators stood in pretty good shape with Zipperer. Then Florida started pursuing Jahleel Billingsley‍ and Ethan Rae‍, while Zipperer fell to the wayside somewhat. Now that those two have committed elsewhere, the Gators are back on the Zipperer bandwagon.

The Bottom Line: I don't know if there is a bottom line with Zipperer, who seems to be having fun with reporters when interviewed about where he stands in recruiting. Regardless of what he says before or afterward, it is a big deal for Florida to get him on campus for Friday Night Lights for the second year in a row. The more time Larry Scott spends with him the better Florida's chances become.
