Florida is one of several programs still in contact with Olympic sprinter

In the past, once a high school prospect signed an endorsement deal, it prohibited him from participating on the collegiate level. However, in the NIL era, things aren't quite as cut-and-dry.

Take for instance Tampa (Fla.) Hillsborough athlete Erriyon Knighton. At one time the Olympic speedster was considered to be one of the premiere football prospects in the Sunshine State.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
Would he be on scholarship or walk on and pay his own way?

I'm honestly not sure.

I don't think he knows either.

Knighton said that he has to talk to someone who knows about NIL and then figure out if it is in his best interest to play football.

These schools being in contact would make it seem like he is open to the idea, or why would they continue recruiting him?
