OFFICIAL VISITORS

Terrance Brooks‍

Cornerback

The Skinny:  It is an extraordinary story in that Florida offered, then fell off with Brooks, before reestablishing contact and being included in his top five. That isn't often the path you see taken with such highly sought-after prospects who have big-time offers. Florida will have to hold off Oregon, where he visited last week, as well as Texas and Alabama.

Oscar Delp‍

Tight End

The Skinny:  You can call this the Kyle Pitts effect. After the season he had led to him being the highest selected tight end in NFL Draft history, of course, Florida is going to have the attention of those who want to be utilized in the same way. That has led Florida to host two of the top three tight ends in the nation in Jaleel Skinner earlier this week and now Delp. Though he made it out of his Georgia official visit last weekend without committing, the smart money is still on the Bulldogs. Can Florida sway him at all this weekend is the question.

Jay Fair‍

Wide Receiver

The Skinny: If Pitts deserves some credit for the increased interest from tight ends, then Florida quarterback-commit Nick Evers should get the same when it comes to Fair. Billy Gonzales has been talking to him about how UF would utilize his speed, but the Gators will have to overcome in-state schools TCU and Texas A&M - along with Auburn, where he’ll visit next weekend.

Julian Humphrey‍

Cornerback

The Skinny:  Humphrey told ITG that when he received his offer from Florida there was never any doubt that he would commit to the Gators, He also said that he was still planning to take other visits, and did just that this week seeing Alabama (who offered him) and Texas A&M (the team that likely came in second place). Now, Florida will be able to more firmly secure his pledge when he actually has a chance this weekend to see the coaching staff he committed to in-person for the first time.

Jamarion Miller‍

Running Back

The Skinny: Miller is the only prospect visiting this weekend who I have never spoken to. However, he told Jason Howell of Texags last Sunday that he is in frequent contact with the Florida coaches.

"You know me and coach [Greg] Knox have a good relationship. We have a big group message with all the offensive position coaches and we text each other and tell each other to have a great day and create that bond with each other."

Miller officially visited Texas A&M last weekend and has a trip to Alabama (6/18) up next.

Addison Nichols‍

Offensive Lineman

The Skinny:  When he spoke to ITG in late March, he seemed to be high on both Georgia and Ohio State and included that duo, along with Southern Cal and Tennessee in his top five. He didn’t commit to the home-state Bulldogs while officially visiting last weekend, and has the Buckeyes coming up for a midweek visit on 6/14.

Qae'Shon Sapp‍  ‍

Offensive Lineman

The Skinny:  After visiting for the Summer Kickoff recruiting event on June 1, he returns to Gainesville this weekend for his official visit and then will trip to Cincinnati (6/18) and Florida State (6/25) before making his announcement on July 3. A month ago, you would have called the Seminoles a shoo-in, but it’s safe to say Florida has made up some ground.
