In this weekly feature Inside the Gators recaps the Florida football week in recruiting with this day-by-day blog of everything that happened as it pertains to the Gators’ recruiting efforts. 

SUNDAY

With a couple of top early targets already committed elsewhere, Florida is in the process of rebuilding their running back board. One prospect at the position that they have started to pursue is Knightdale (N.C.) three-star back Trevion Cooley‍.

– Loganville (Ga.) Grayson teammates, and Florida commits, Carlos Del Rio‍ and Daejon Reynolds‍ have been point men when it comes to the Gators recruiting efforts.

Florida is the first SEC offer for Salinas (Calif.) Palma three-star offensive guard Noah Pulealii‍, who hopes to get to Florida this fall.

2019 Florida signee Diwun Black‍ tweeted out that he would be returning to Florida. Though he was listed as a commitment by some services, he told Inside the Gators that he had to speak with Dan Mullen before that became official.

After posting his public commitment Black informed ITG via DM what it is he has to do in order to make it back to UF.

Canonsburg (Pa.) Peters Township safety Donovan McMillon‍ told Inside the Gators that he had an ‘amazing’ experience during his 'virtual visit' to Florida.

 Florida ended a commitment dry spell by receiving a pledge from Panama City (Fla.) Mosley three-star offensive lineman Adrein Strickland‍, who chose the Gators over Central Florida and Maryland.

MONDAY

This is the week that Florida finally jumped into the mix by hosting prospects on ‘virtual visits’. One of the very first targets that the Gators hosted was Highland Springs (Va.) four-star defensive end Kelvin Gilliam‍.
