Florida Football 3-2-1: Offensive Line Spring Preview

March 3, 2020

With spring practices only a couple of weeks away, it’s time to start previewing what the 2020 Gators might look like position-by-position.

Next up is the offensive line. Here are three observations, two questions and one prediction about the group entering the spring.

Three Observations

1. The competition should be much better at the position this spring.

I feel the same way regarding continuity Haha.... looking for this unit to be improved this year but can't really expect too much unless the new faces are major talent upgrades. We are starting to recruit much better at this position which is really nice.

To me, I believe it comes down to Eguakun vs Braun. If Kingsley is able to handle Center duties, then it should be: LT-Gouraige, LG-White, C-Eguakun, RG-Heggie, RT-Forsythe. If Braun is a better at Guard than Eguakun is at Center, then you let Heggie handle the Center duties and slide Braun in at Guard. Either way, get Delance out of there. I also think Forsythe could make himself draftable at RT.
