Florida’s last official visit weekend of the 2020 recruiting cycle features only one official visitor, but there will be quite a few top tier prospects on campus for Saturday’s Jr. Day.

OFFICIAL VISITORS

Sedrick Van Pran‍

Offensive Lineman

The Skinny:  I am actually sort of surprised that this official visit is happening. I would have assumed that Georgia would have locked him up during his official visit there last weekend. While he is still solid to the Bulldogs, there is at least an opening here, as evidenced by his willingness to visit, and anything can happen over the weekend. It is a good bet that his player host will be former high school teammate Chester Kimbrough.

TARGETS VISITING ELSEWHERE

Damarkcus Beckwith‍: We’ll wait and see if he and his brother Camyrn Bechwith make a return trip to finalist Tennessee.

Marc Britt‍: Though he told Inside the Gators he still considers himself committed to Florida earlier this week [Wire: Britt puts a percentage on his Florida commitment], the Gators will have to survive this weekend visit to Ole Miss.

Ashaad Clayton‍: The Colorado commit will officially visit the Buffaloes this weekend.

Jahmyr Gibbs‍: Florida put their best foot forward during last weekend’s official visit, but that may all be overshadowed when this weekend when he visits Georgia Tech, the program he is currently committed to.

Princely Umanmielen‍: Upon leaving Florida last weekend, Umanmielen said that his parents prefer he stay closer to home and now this weekend he is splitting time between Texas and Baylor. You can probably guess how this one turns out.

JR. DAY VISITORS

There are two things to keep in mind here.

First of all this is Florida’s Elite Jr. Day, it is meant to have a limited number of only the Gators very top targets on hand.

Secondly, the prospects listed are only the ones Inside the Gators has contacted this week to verify they would be in attendance.

There are kids on the list below who won’t make it in and kids who aren’t on the list who will be there.

For instance, Byron Turner‍, who dominated at a UF camp session last June, was scheduled to attend, but then today found out he won’t be able to make it in.

We will have full coverage on Saturday.

  • Four-star quarterback commit Carlos Del Rio
  • Four-star safety Amari Harvey
  • Four-star running back Lovasea Carroll
  • Four-star cornerback Omarion Cooper
  • Three-star defensive end Victoine Brown
