The Storylines

• The Gators are 2-1 following non-consecutive losses under Mullen, with one of those wins coming earlier this season (38-27 at South Carolina) after their loss at then-No. 5 LSU.

• Florida has won six consecutive home games, a streak that dates back to November 2018, and it can win its first five home games within a season for the first time since finishing 2016 a perfect 5-0 in The Swamp.

• The Gators have been a top-10 team in 11 of the last 12 Associated Press Top 25 Polls, which is their most consistent stretch since a run of 12 consecutive top-10 rankings from Week 5 of 2012 (Sept. 30) through the 2013 preseason rankings. From Week 1 of 2013 (Sept. 3) through the final poll of the 2017 season, UF was in the top 10 just four times.

• Florida’s offense is averaging at least 400 total yards per game through its first nine games for the first time since 2009, and for just the fifth time since 2005 it is over 380 yards (2019 - 403.9; 2018 - 384.0; 2009 - 438.7; 2008 - 407.4; 2007 - 440.6).

• Florida can still post a second straight 10-win season for the first time since posting 13 wins in both 2008 -- Mullen’s final year as offensive coordinator -- and 2009.

• The Gators have a chance to finish in the top 10 of the final Associated Press Top 25 Poll in consecutive seasons for the first time since 2008 (No. 1) and 2009 (No. 3).

• UF can also win six SEC games for the first time since 2016, when it went 6-2 and made the SEC Championship Game.

• Florida is still in a hunt for a second consecutive “New Year’s Six” bowl berth. The Gators can make consecutive marquee bowl appearances for the first time since 2008 (BCS National Championship Game) and 2009 (Sugar Bowl). Before last season’s Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl berth, UF made just one marquee bowl appearance from 2010-17 (a 33-23 loss to No. 21 Louisville in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 2, 2013).

• Florida can finish undefeated at home for the 14th time since 1990 and just the third time since the start of 2010 (7-0 in 2012; 5-0 in 2016).

• Florida can beat in-state rival Florida State in consecutive seasons for the first time since ripping off a six-game winning streak against the Seminoles from 2004-09.

• UF can finish atop the SEC East with two wins and two Georgia losses (vs. Missouri, at Auburn, vs. Texas A&M).
